(ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 8, 2016) – The Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) industry just got a new home and dealer training program, UTV University, at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) and Hardscape North America, the world’s largest trade show for the garden, lawn and outdoor power equipment industries, announced the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI). OPEI is the majority partner in the trade show to be held October 19-21, 2016 in Louisville, Ky.
(Louisville, KY) - The 2015 GIE+EXPO (Green Industry & Equipment Expo), Oct. 21-23 at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, buzzed with business indoors and out. The footprint of the show was 1.35 million square feet, over 30 acres and the size of 27 football fields, making it the largest ever for this mega show and, in fact, one of the largest tradeshows in the U.S. The industry event draws all segments of the outdoor power equipment and lawn & garden industry. This year more than 21,000 people from around the world represented an 11% increase in registration over last year.
